A little over a year ago, Jon Stewart played an instrumental role in raising awareness for the Zadroga Bill to provide healthcare to 9/11 first responders. Fortunately, the bill passed. However, in a twist that sounds like it's from a dark satire about how broken and inefficient our government is, cancer is not a covered ailment.
