• Rick Santorum Attacks President Obama for Worshipping the Earth

Professional culture warrior Rick Santorum is running for president to fight for Christian family values. In a world of affordable birth control and gender equality, Santorum believes his ultra-conservative strain of Catholicism is under siege. So, he's just fighting for religious freedom.

Specifically, the freedom to insult everyone else's religion

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum said he takes the president at his word that he's a Christian, but said Barack Obama's "world view" is different than that of most Americans.

Santorum commented in Ohio Saturday that the president believes in "some phony ideal, some phony theology. Oh, not a theology based on the Bible, a different theology"…

"Well, I was talking about the radical environmentalists," he told Schieffer… "Energy, this idea that man is here to serve the Earth…I don't believe that that's what we're here to do — that man is here to use the resources and use them wisely, to care for the Earth, to be a steward of the Earth, but we're not here to serve the Earth.

Rick Santorum's opposition to green energy initiatives and his denial of manmade climate change are perfectly compatible with his other views. He's pro-life, just not life on Earth. Perhaps when the election's over he can join Newt Gingrich on his magic moon colony.

You see, Santorum does not like our planet or our entire galaxy. He only cares about the fictional universe in which he could actually be elected president.
