The story actually checks out. Mitt Romney, and his partners at Bain Capital, shut down operations to search for the missing girl and their efforts were not in vain. Therefore, he should definitely be president. The logic of the ad is impenetrable!
The only way this story could backfire is if it came out that Romney brought the girl home to her parents by strapping her to the roof of his car.
