Rick Santorum Found Three People Who Hate Romneycare
As the Supreme Court hears oral arguments on the constitutionality of the President's healthcare reform law, Rick Santorum used the occasion to rail against Obamacare and its predecessor, Romneycare. The only problem is that studies show up to 84% of Massachusetts residents are happy with their state's healthcare system.
Don't worry. Santorum found three whole people who don't like it…
Sure, the people in the ad don't really give cogent arguments against Romneycare, and the genius who hasn't been to a doctor since 1979 appears to have just learned the word "waiver," but "Catholic Christian values" and, um, "health care values." So there. QED.
Santorum thinks Romney's plan is basically socialism, and Santorum knows socialism. Because, as senator, he repeatedly tried to pass the the Fair Care for the Uninsured Act, which created a $15 billion a year federal program to subsidize health coverage for the working poor.
Whoops. Don't google Santorumcare.
