• Rick Santorum Drops Out Just Prior to Loss in Home State Primary

In what was originally going to be a campaign event in which Rick Santorum would once again explain supporters how — despite all angles of mathematics, probability and logic – he could still win the Republican primaries, Rick Santorum just took to the stage in his home state of Pennsylvania — where he was losing in polls to GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney — and announced that obviously obviously obviously he was not going to be the Republican nominee for President of the United States…

"While this presidential race for us is over for me, and we will suspend our campaign effective today, we are not done fighting… This game is a long long long way from over."

So, true! And remember, today is not a sad day. Today is a happy day. For today we have learned that we will get a whole entire new campaign season full of Rick Santorum debasing himself and torturing logic in four* years time.

Farewell, Rick Santorum 2012. Long live, Rick Santorum 2016!!!
