• Mitt Romney Opens Mouth, Says Words About Immigration

    Mitt Romney

This is what we've been waiting for all day — Mitt Romney's response to the president's pledge to stop deporting young illegal immigrants. He's had time to think it over and come up with a clear, coherent position on this issue. Wait for it

"I believe the status of young people who come here through no fault of their own is an important matter to be considered, and it should be resolved on a long-term basis."

    Fascinating. Go on…

"…I think the action that the president took today makes it more difficult to reach that longterm solution because an executive order is, of course, just a short term matter. It could be reversed by some president."

Just what I thought: Mitt Romney opposes the president's executive order and would reverse it as president…

Romney did not respond to questions as to whether he would reverse the order if elected.

Ah. I forgot for a second it was Mitt Romney talking.
