• House Republicans Vote to Make-Believe Repeal Obamacare

For the 33rd time since it was signed by Barack Obama, the House of Representatives today voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

And for the 33rd time, the legislation has no chance of making it past the Senate so that it can be unceremoniously vetoed by the President

Republicans insisted on passing the Repeal of Obamacare Act, H.R. 6079, in reaction to the Supreme Court ruling, even though Democrats pointed out that the bill would be ignored by the Democratic Senate. House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) cast the bill as a way to give the Senate another chance to heed the will of Americans who oppose the legislation and see it as something that has led to increased healthcare costs and hindered job creation.

"For those who still support repealing this harmful healthcare law, we're giving our colleagues in the Senate another chance to heed the will of the American people," Boehner said, noting the House vote against the law at the start of the 112th Congress. "And for those who did not support repeal the last time, it's a chance for our colleagues to reconsider."

I don't know why they're wasting their time with such frivolous legislation when they should be making tornadoes illegal and passing resolutions against Joe Biden's combover.

I think Internet commenter Anti-Lib probably summed up the conservative sentiment best when, in response to the news, he quipped

    LIBTARDS ARE LOSERS!!!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

OBOZOCARE WILL BE REPEALED IN 2013!!!

Obviously, most politicians can't express themselves as eloquently as Anti-Lib. So, they'll probably just have to make do with the 34th through 57th attempts at repeal.

You know what they say, 57th time's the charm!
