How well does Mitt Romney understand middle class America? If his interview on Good Morning America today is any indication, pretty damn well!
So, who better to explain to all of us the squalid conditions under which middle-income family have been forced to live in Obama's America…
Here you will find a typical middle income family's modest dwelling place. It's nothing too fancy, but our family calls it home.
Note that our family can only afford a single one of these meager houses. Otherwise, they would be forced to give up their summer villa off the coast of Greece.
Dad heads off to work, probably at the rock quarry or the shoe shine stand he runs in the local train station. Whatever it is, I can assure you it is being over-taxed.
After a grueling day of work and school, the average middle-income family relaxes in their small but cozy home theater with some soothing televised musical entertainment. Hopefully it's something light, to sooth their jangled nerves. Ah, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's "Francesca da Rimini"… That sounds perfect!
Dinner time! I wonder what's on the menu tonight! Duck a l'Orange? Again?! But we just had that as the third course two weeks ago! Wait a minute… Something's missing.
Uh oh! Looks like somebody forgot to pick up dinner croissants on the way home from work. Don't worry, honey. He'll be right back!
