Marco Rubio Has a New Catchphrase

Last night Marco Rubio–the most important member of the Republican Party with the initials M.R.–gave a speech at the Jack Kemp Leadership Dinner (transcript).

During his 4,184-word speech, one phrase was repeated 34 times.

No, not "Rubio '16."

"Middle class." Apparently this has become the GOP talking point du jour, if only because it's more concise than "Hey, uhh, let's forget that whole 47% thing ever happened."
