Tucker Carlson Is Very Confused About Women in Combat

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced that the Obama administration will lift the ban on women serving in combat units, finally allowing the law to confirm to the long-standing reality that women have been operating on the front lines of America's endless wars. Panetta's decision will make women eligible for another 238,000 jobs in the military and open up a whole flood of stupid from the likes of Tucker Carlson.
The administration boasts about sending women to the front lines on the same day Democrats push the Violence Against Women Act.

Remember when President Obama signed the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act? And then a short time later lifted the ban on gays serving openly in the military? Contrary to what our favorite bowtied Einstein may think, the president wasn't being a hypocrite on the question of "should gay people be violently assaulted?"
There's a big difference between consenting to serve your country on the battlefield and hate crimes, or in this case, domestic abuse.
Feminism's latest victory: the right to get your limbs blown off in war. Congratulations.

Thank goodness for Twitter's character limit or all of Carlson's comments would end with "and what are we going to do when their menstruation attracts bears??"
