Michelle Obama Wins the Oscar for Best Way to Offend Conservatives

Last night's Academy Awards featured a surprise appearance by Michelle Obama, who spoke via satellite from Washington, D.C. to announce the Best Picture winner, Argo.

You will be shocked–shocked, I tell you–to learn that a Hollywood ceremony featuring Michelle Obama and honoring a movie that celebrates a successful moment in Jimmy Carter's presidency made conservatives mad.

Actually, this looks like less of a political decision by Hollywood and more of a business one. The First Lady's ratings are way higher than the Oscar telecast's.
