Barack Obama to Accept Nomination at Bank of America Stadium
Symbolism, you are a harsh mistress. Sure, you can make a candidate look like the savior of all mankind. But you can also make them look like a puppet for corporate America…President Obama will close out the 2012 Democratic National Convention in September with an acceptance speech at Bank of America stadium in Charlotte, N.C., party sources told the Charlotte Observer.
If you took footage of the President in 2012 delivering a speech at a place called Bank of American Stadium and sent it back in time to the year 1993, the footage could be used for a heavy-handed, on-the-nose political commentary scene in Robocop 3.
The open-air venue, which seats more than 73,000, would significantly expand access to Obama's speech for his supporters and the public and replicate the dramatic setting from four years ago.
Note the fantastic use of the word replicate. Liberals will feign emotion as the candidate they pretend to still be in love with takes the stage and purports to still be a Democrat.

Sure the banks are guilty of some pretty egregious practices at the expense of the most financially vulnerable among us, but let's not be so quick to forget some of the good things credit card companies do. You know, like providing free t-shirts to college freshman and giving Congress someone to hungrily blow other than the defense, insurance, pharmaceutical and agriculture industries.

Barack Obama Marks The First Anniversary of the Econopocalypse
It was exactly one year ago today that Lehman Brothers executives agreed to file for Chapter 11, and Merrill Lynch executives agreed to sell themselves to Bank of America for $50 billion plus change, and the rest of us agreed to learn what the hell "collateralized debt obligations" are.Since then, of course, we have largely forgotten about the collapse of the U.S. financial system, on account of the collapse of the debate about the U.S. health care system, but today is the day we start remembering. So says President Obama, who headed to Wall Street this afternoon to give the fat cats a piece of his mind…
"We will not go back to the days of reckless behavior and unchecked excess at the heart of this crisis, where too many were motivated only by the appetite for quick kills and bloated bonuses," Mr. Obama said.
That's very- what's the phrase I'm looking for? Oh yes.
