A Look Back at 2011 with The Daily Show – December
Ah, December. That month rings a bell… is it still happening? Is it over? All I remember about December is that it was the month when Newt Gingrich deployed Pokemon in the War on Christmas, and Bill O'Reilly announced that Jon Stewart was going to hell for growing a beard. (How about now? Is it over now?)
The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday at 11/10c.

From the Pork Barrel: Why So Ridiculous?

* Big question on the Internet today: Why is Rick Perry wearing Heath Ledger's coat from Brokeback Mountain in his big new anti-gay ad? Better question: Has he been using Heath Ledger's character from The Dark Knight in everything always?
* 47 to 1 Dislike to Like ratio for Perry's ad on YouTube. Surprisingly popular!
* Bill O'Reilly, it turns out, does not like being Bill O'Reilly-ed.
* Michele Bachmann's still on the fence about whether or not she has any shame.
* Donald Trump, meanwhile, suffers from no such qualms.
* Belgium just swore in its new French-speaking, openly-gay, atheist Socialist prime minister. Sigh… Every liberal's dream.

Bill O'Reilly: Jon Stewart Going to Hell, Has Valid Points
From The CC Insider…
I don't know about you, but when I see Bill O'Reilly, I can't help but think of Christmas. And maybe it's just because his face reminds me of ham, but the fact remains, when Christmas needs a bloviating crusader, he is there to rouse the rabble on behalf of the downtrodden nearly-forgotten holiday.
So, after Jon Stewart hilariously declared war on Christmas this week, it came as little surprise when O'Reilly responded on his Fox News show last night…

From the Pork Barrel: 404

* Herman Cain's 404 plan is even better than his 999 one.
* What's behind Newt Gingrich's newfound frontrunner status? Besides desperation and conservative self-loathing, I mean.
* Bill O'Reilly fights back against "enemies" who so egregiously fact check his new book on Abraham Lincoln.
* Turns out millionaires only receive somewhere in the neighborhood of "$30 billion in government largesse each year." That's not so bad, is it? I think if more people knew that they'd be a lot less angry at the government.

From the Pork Barrel: Victoria Jackson Reports
* Does Victoria Jackson understand that the purpose of these viral propaganda citizen-journalist interview pieces is not to make you look stupider than the people you're interviewing? "I made myself look really idiotic that time! That means we won!"
* Gary Johnson is on Reddit answering questions from regular people. I'm a little surprised to see that he qualified for that.
* Topeka, Kansas is lifting its ban on beating the living hell out of your spouse for burning the meatloaf. How did these archaic old laws ever get on the books in the first place?
* Bill O'Reilly has been accused of behaving like Bill O'Reilly. That's gonna really hurt him with anti-Bill O'Reilly fans.
