Bristol Palin Has Helpful Parenting Advice for President Obama
Bristol Palin — reality star, abstinence-only-education spokes-single mother and widely accepted greatest role model in America — has some really excellent advice for President Obama: Sometimes it's best to teach your children bullshit science, open-divisiveness and subtextual-hate…"While it's great to listen to your kids' ideas, there’s also a time when dads simply need to be dads," Bristol, the eldest daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, wrote in a blog post titled "Hail to the Chiefs — Malia and Sasha Obama" on Thursday.
Obama said on Wednesday that his daughers' acceptance of friends with same-sex parents helped prompt his "change in perspective."
In response, Palin writes: "In this case, it would’ve been helpful for him to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, that’s not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage. Or that — as great as her friends may be — we know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids’ worldview."
I am so happy she's back in the cultural spotlight. Really, one of the finer aspects of American culture.

Jon Stewart on Sarah Palin's Non-Road Not to a Place That Is Not the White House
You know, the worst part about Sarah Palin deciding not to run for the presidency is that now she's going to have to send all that donation money back to the people who donated it to her. Can you even imagine. I'm guessing she's gonna have to spend the better part of this month putting in 10-hour-days meticulously writing out individual checks and stuffing envelopes. But, hey, that's the glamorous life of a major political figure for you.
Indecision 2012 coverage continues with Herman's Cain's rising walnut after the jump.

Quote Unquote: Fashion
Bristol Palin on Michele Bachmann's sartorial choices…
"I think she dresses a lot like my mom. But a lot, a lot of women have done that the last few years. I do think it's odd, you know, seeing people with red blazers with their hair up with glasses… I don't know if she's wearing glasses but you want to be hummmm, do you think that people don't notice you're dressing like my mom?"
And what's with those shoes she's always wearing on her feet? Like, hello! As if we didn't see a certain Alaskan half-term governor wearing shoes already?
Oh, and don't even get me started with the way Bachmann insists on bending her legs at the knee as she walks. Pathetic!
