I find it so hard to believe that Congress would spend its time doing things like reaffirming "In God We Trust" as our national motto. That's time that could be spent on television complaining about the atheistic hordes who are overtaking our poor nation. Where are their priorities?

As you know, Congressman Charlie Rangel was convicted this week of committing eleven ethics violations, and as Stephen Colbert discussed last night, the Representative is being punished with a Congressional letter of reprimand. Worse yet, I hear it's going to be one of those cushy minimum-security white-collar Congressional letters of reprimand. Nothing like the hardcore waking-nightmare Congressional letters of reprimand they used to have on Oz.
