Dan Rather on Michele Bachmann 2012…
"This woman is for real, whether you agree with her politics or not. This is not Sarah Palin coming out of nowhere."
I'm not even sure how to process that statement. It looks like a compliment, and I'm pretty sure that's how he meant it. But it sure smells like an insult.
I mean, if somebody said that about my mother, I'd punch him in the throat.
