Thanks so much to everyone who participated in last week's Extremely Local Politics. There were some great guesses this week, as well as some great "guesses."

Some of the more creative tries for each picture were:

    1. Barack Obama milking Oprah's help for all it's worth. (BillSPreston)

    2. Mr. Bill testifies before Congress about Torture he endured during the SNL years….. (WhiteTrashFarmer)

    3. 76 easy ways to reinvent holiday decorations into interrogation. (nothingclever101)

    4. A close up of Michael Moore wearing a hat that says, "Miss Butterworth for President". (also nothingclever101)

A special salute goes out to the first folks who guessed correctly or mostly correctly:

    1. DreamScar guessed correctly that the first image is "the bottom of the torch on the Statue of Liberty."

    2. BillSPreston was the first to almost get this one right with "The latest entry onto the Libertarian ticket: Frosty the Snowman."

And NVLIBRARYSTAFF probably came closer than intended with the guesses for 3 and 4:

"3. A-tisket a-tasket, Hillary Clinton's basket of upholstered furniture in the spirit of an Oprah Christmas Giveaway.

    4. Someone stuck a Huckabee for President sticker on Santa's forehead while he fell asleep during the last republican debate. "

Click on each picture to reveal the answers! And check back soon for the next Extremely Local Politics!

Last week, we asked you to look at four very close-in-detail pictures that have something to do with politics and tell us what you think they are. First, here are some of our favorite guesses:

    1. A single atom of the newly-discovered "Thompsonite," so named because of its bright red color. (BillSPreston)

    2. Crack Rock that current administration smokes every day to get back into their own reality. (FreedomDoer_IH8W)

    3. The Iraq War Ferris Wheel: "Can you stop this f*cking thing and let me off already, or I'm gonna hurl?!" (NVLIBRARYSTAFF)

    4. Two rolls of Dick Cheney toilet paper. (SkyPete)

But kudos go to bearness, who came the closest to a correct answer:

    1. Boxing glove used in Hillary
