From the Pork Barrel: John Boehner, Socialism and Other Words That Obviously Go Together
* John Boehner's primary challenged David Lewis states the obvious: "John Boehner is a socialist." ("Socialist" is a generic term meaning someone I don't much care for, right? Yeah, I thought so.)
* Hey, since we've already lost the last four years to crippling bottomless recession due to the failings of unregulated capitalism, hey, why not just throw the rest of our lives down that well, too.
* Andrew Breitbart to Tea Partiers: "We outnumber [liberals] in this country, and we have the guns." Not sure about the numbers, but they definitely have the guns. And the heart medication; don't forget that.

Stock Market Commits Suicide After U.S. Credit Rating Downgraded
Does anybody know how Wall Street responded just at the beginning of the fall of Rome?Wall Street stocks plummeted Monday morning on the first-ever downgrade of the United States' credit rating, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average plunging as much as 380 points in the first hour of trading.
The move by Standard & Poor's over the weekend to cut the U.S. rating from AAA to AA-plus shook confidence among global investors and added to worries that the world’s largest economy could sink into a double-dip recession.
Investors dumped stocks and fled into safe havens such as gold, which rose to record highs of more than $1,700 an ounce.
Oh… my… God! This is more serious than I thought!I never thought I'd actually see this day, and now that's upon me, I almost feel like I'm hallucinating.
Glenn Beck was right!

"There was a shooting at a political camp, which sounds a little like, you know, the Hitler youth. I mean, who does a camp for kids that's all about politics? Disturbing."
Good point, Glenn Beck! So right on the money. I mean, really, who does create a a camp for kids that's all about politics? That's just crazy! Especially when those could instead be going to Beck's own 912 Project Liberty School where "kids aged 8-12 years old will have fun while learning the principles of liberty, free markets, and limited government." Much much better option!
Remember, choosy moms choose Beck!
