Fox News Gets Coveted Front Row Seat Usually Reserved for News Organizations
Fox News just got three feet closer to commandeering control of the nation…
The White House Correspondents Association said Sunday that The Associated Press' reporter has been moved to the [White House Briefing Room] front-row center seat previously occupied by Helen Thomas. Fox's correspondent will take the AP's former front-row seat, and National Public Radio's correspondent will move up one row to Fox's old second-row seat.
I'm sure that, after all that unpleasantness with Helen Thomas, they wanted to make sure that any news organization in the front row would not allude to nor say anything racist.
So, Fox News seemed like an obvious choice.

Jon Stewart on the Battle for Helen Thomas's Seat
As Jon Stewart reported on last night's Daily Show, members of the White House press corp are vying for Helen Thomas's coveted front-row seat now that the long-time correspondent has resigned in disgrace. It's getting pretty heated too. After Bloomberg sat in the seat, Fox News launched mortar attacks, and CNN later sent suicide bombers into a cafe on the left armrest. Fortunately a peace summit is planned for this afternoon where NPR will recommend everyone take turns sitting on each other's laps.

South Carolina's Casual Racism and Wanton Sex Comes Through in the Clutch to Save Jon from Helen Thomas
I remember one time back a few years ago, when my life wasn't going quite as well as it is now, I was unemployed, drinking a lot, unable to muster the energy to pull myself out of a spiral of self-destruction. And one day, there was a knock on my door. It was South Carolina. It put its arm around me and told me that the Jews have a controlling interest in all the circus animals and that I could look it up online if I didn't believe it. Then, after tell me I was blind if I couldn't see the implications, two of its Baptist preachers touched each other's taints. That was all I needed. I wrote up my resume that very day and two months later, I had a job as Dean of the local university (a job which I later lost after it was revealed that I still didn't have a college degree).
Anyway, I'll never forget that. And now South Carolina's back to lend another helping hand in our country's time of need…
