Jon Stewart: Sh*t Is Flying Everywhere!
On last night's Daily Show, Jon Stewart pointed out that shit is basically out of control all over the entire world. The Gulf Coast is soaked in oil, Nashville is under water, Greece is about to collapse, the Dow went on a rollercoaster and some numbnuts tried to blow up Times Square. And that's just a few of the crazy things that have happened in only the last week. I knew it was a mistake to built Earth on that old Indian burial ground!
The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday at 11pm / 10c.

John Edwards Possibly Facing Federal Indictment, Glorious Political Comeback
Could this be any more perfect? This story hit the internet…John Edwards to Be Indicted For Campaign Violations, According to Source
The National Enquirer, the same tabloid that uncovered John Edward's affair and secret love child, is now reporting that a federal grand jury is about to indict Edwards… for possible campaign violations related to paying his mistress Rielle Hunter…
An unnamed "friend" of Edwards tells the Enquirer, "John is terrified that he's going to be indicted. While he believes he's done nothing illegal in trying to hide his extramarital affair with Rielle and their daughter, he thinks the Feds are going to make an example of him."
…on the very same day as this one…
Ex-aide: Edwards Thinks He Can Come Back
The former John Edwards aide whose recent tell-all book chronicles the former Democratic presidential candidate's extramarital affair and then fall from grace said Thursday that Mr. Edwards still believes he has a political future.
"He still has a sense of being bulletproof," former aide Andrew Young told The Washington Times' "America's Morning News" radio show. "He thinks… he's going to come back and have something to offer the world."
To be fair, we really shouldn't count Edwards out. I really do think he might "have something to offer the world."
From what I understand, reality television is gonna get a lot bigger before it gets any smaller.

Breaking News: Reasonable Person Does Reasonable Thing in Reasonable State
I really hope this crashing planes into buildings meme dies out pretty soon…
Austin police say a small plane crashed into the seven-story building in the 9400 block of Research Boulevard, per the Austin Statesman.
CNN reported that the man set his house on fire, stole the plane and crashed it intentionally, citing a federal official…
CBS Radio News tweeted that the FBI has an office nearby the site in the same office park. The building that was hit houses the IRS, according to reports.
The name of the "pilot" was Joseph Andrew Stack, and he was at least kind enough to leave an explanatory note on his website…
"If you're reading this, you're no doubt asking yourself, 'Why did this have to happen?'" the message says. "The simple truth is that it is complicated and has been coming for a long time." In the long message, the writer rails against the government and, particularly, the Internal Revenue Service.
"It's complicated," is a kind of understandable explanation for why you broke up with your girlfriend of seven years, but it it really really doesn't cut it for slamming planes into buildings.
