  • Bill O'Reilly's Attack on Janeane Garofalo Backfires

Bill O'Reilly's team of crack video detectives finally managed to hunt down Janeane Garofalo and persecute her on-camera for the heinous crime of calling it like she saw it on MSNBC regarding last month's nation-wide Teabagging Festival which Fox News did not actually officially but unofficially but officially sponsor.

Unfortunately for O'Reilly, his hired ambushing filmmaker was ill-prepared for dealing with human beings with functioning brain cells. (Most likely all that time on set left him somewhat atrophied.)

Fatso the cat is probably more The Factor's speed.

Not because he's a cat, but because he's dead.

  • Teabaggers Have a Mouthful for Janeane Garofalo

    From The CC Insider

GYI0051180596.jpgJaneane Garofalo is just one of the many great comics who will be performing at next month's AltCom festival in Boston, but she'll probably be the only one to draw a large crowd of angry conservative activists. According to the Boston Herald, a number of tea partiers are said to be buying up tickets to Janeane's show with plans to heckle her, even though, to the best of my knowledge, she has never gone to where they work and slapped the teabags out of their mouths.

Fueling the tea party-goers' ire was Janeane's appearance on Obama apologist Keith Olbermann's MSNBC show earlier this month wherein the left-leaning funnygal painted the tax protesters as a bunch of redneck racists.

"You know, there's nothing more interesting than seeing a bunch of racists become confused and angry…," she said. "Which, let's be very honest about what this is about. It's not about bashing Democrats, it's not about taxes, they have no idea what the Boston Tea Party was about, they don't know their history at all. This is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up."

Well, it seems that many of the protesters beg to differ. And one sent a raaather nasty e-mail to the director of The Alternative Comedy Festival, which is bringing Garofalo to town.

"This (bleep) is gonna hear it from Boston," the anonymous e-mailer said. "All us bigots and racists are buying up tix to let this piece of excrement hear it from us. shame on her."
