From The CC Insider…
You already knew The Daily Show had "the best fucking news team ever," but last night you got expensive in-your-face graphics that told you, and that's really what journalism is about, right?
I, for one, love when they do sketch-type stuff like this on The Daily Show. I wish they did more of it. I wish they did like 36 hours of sketches per day. In my kitchen. I also wish marshmallows could read. Why don't any of my wishes ever come true? I should probably read The Secret again.

And this one stars Britney Spears and Paris Hilton…
Oh, didn't you hear? It's 2003.
Anyway, I gotta open a window and let some of the deperation out of here.
Seriously, what is wrong with the McCain campaign when their strongest line of attacking Barack Obama is pointing how much everybody else in the world seems to love him. There's something off-puttingly freaks and Geeks about that.
Update: John McCain's old strategist John Weaver weighs in on McCain's brilliant new attack ad against himself…
"John's been a celebrity ever since he was shot down," Weaver said. "Whatever that means. And I recall Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush going overseas and all those waving American flags… For McCain to win in such troubled times, he needs to begin telling the American people how he intends to lead us. That McCain exists. He can inspire the country to greatness…
"There is legitimate mockery of a political campaign now, and it isn't at Obama's. For McCain's sake, this tomfoolery needs to stop."
I, for one, hope the tomfoolery doesn't stop. I'd hate to have to go back to writing my own jokes.

From the CC Insider…
If you somehow don't know David Rees's work, give yourself a gutter ball in the Wii Bowling game of life, because he's amazing and you're a loser. His My New Fighting Technique Is Unstoppable had already made him great, but it was Get Your War On that elevated him to the Thomas Nast of the Internet.
The comics are smart, confrontational and, above all, hilarious, and now they're an animated web series, brought to you by the fine people of 23/6…

From Florida, with love…
Wait a minute! Maybe this billboard is trying to tell us that Mohamed Atta and all the rest of the extremist Muslim hijackers were Democrats. That kinda makes sense. Because, c'mon, only a Democrat can hate America enough to do something like they did.
No, that can't be right. Democrats are all atheists.
