From the Pork Barrel: Chris Christie Not Yet Risen

* Chris Christie definitely not running for president says everybody except for Chris Christie.
* Fox News' Megyn Kelly defends GOP members booing gay soldier. Besides, can you prove that was debate audience and not some homophobic ghosts?
* Is there any conservative in America less Reaganesque than Michael Reagan?
* N.C. Gov. Beverly Perdue suggests skipping congressional elections this time round so legislators can focus on economy, not getting beaten to a pulp in the polls.
* Lobbyists lobbying for right to more lobbying.

LiveBlog: The Fox News/Google Republican Debate
11:00 – Well, that is that. I'm not sure what there is to say about this debate. Everybody played their part well and nobody came right out and sucked the esophagus out of one of the other candidates. So, good job. What does everyone else think?
10:54 – @TheRealDCF: "@TheInDecider @allisonkilkenny That's easy. They'd all marry Reagan, kill the sick, and fuck the unemployed. #tweetthepress"
10:51 – Michele Bachmann paraphrased: "Even an idiot can beat Barack Obama next year, so choose me!"
10:49 – I think Rick Perry wants to see Newt Gingrich and Herman Cain get it on.
10:48 – So, does that mean that Ron Paul would chose himself as a running mate?
10:47 – Newt Gingrich has to go an be a killjoy as usual.
10:44 – Gary Johnson has the line of the night. "My neighbor's dogs have created more shovel-ready jobs than this administration." He should quit the race now. Always go out on a high note.

Anthony Weiner on Why Clarence Thomas Should Recuse Himself from Health Care Decisions
The most outspoken member of Congress makes his case to Stephen for why the most unspoken member of the Supreme Court should step away from the bench when the court hears cases involving health care reform (which his wife happens to be making its repeal her life's work)…
Coverage continues after the jump.
The Colbert Report airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30/10:30c.

Jon Stewart Exposes Fox News's Hypocrisy Toward Teachers
As Jon Stewart pointed out on last night's Daily Show, the same Fox News pundits claiming $50,000 a year plus benefits makes teachers rich also said Wall Street employees making $250,000 were teetering on poverty. Seems like a pretty glaring discrepancy. Then again, a stock broker never gave me homework over Spring Break, so I'm kind of on the fence.
After the jump, Jon discusses the current state of the public school system with historian and author Diane Ravitch.
The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday at 11/10c.

The Colbert Report and Daily Show's Continuing Coverage of the Union Protests in Wisconsin
Teachers, firefighters and other union members in Wisconsin continue to protest in Madison in response to Governor Scott Walker's attempts to end collective bargaining in the state. They may be leeching the lifeblood from the country, but you can't deny that these union folks are well organized. That's really what the anti-union people need. If there was a union for those who oppose unions, they'd be able to much more effectively fight collective bargaining using… let's say group negotiation?
More after the jump.
The Daily Show and Colbert Report air Monday through Thursday starting at 11/10c.
