Enjoy life as you know it while it lasts, my fellow straight people, for soon we will be forced to endure the unimaginably horrific dystopia of two dudes that you don't know buying each other rings and fighting over floral centerpieces. My mind is bending toward insanity at the mere thought of it…
After the jump, Stephen Colbert reveals his flawless plan for us heterosexuals to ruin gay people's marriages the same way they're ruining our heterosexual marriages with their gay marriage-having.

Maggie Gallagher — from the anti-civil liberties organization National Organization for Marriage — takes a victory lap after her rag tag bunch of religiously-subsidized underdogs managed to defeat marriage-equality in Maine last Tuesday.
Pretty much the only thing that could make this video any more distasteful is if she were wearing a Yankees cap…
Here's a much more acceptable version…

This new spot from the National Organization for Marriage ain't your daddy's anti-gay marriage ad. No, sir!
It's your uncle's. You know, the one who has a full shelf set aside in the refrigerator just for hot sauces, drives a pick-up that runs on kerosene, and thinks that bow-hunting for black bears is a rite of passage…
I wish they hadn't decided to cut out the fiddle solo. Man, I love me a good fiddle solo.

Aaaawww… Look at this. It's a bunch of adorable little kids who are adorably mouthing what I gather are supposed to be shocking statements about gay marriage — written by adult people who want to ensure that any one of these children who happens to be a homosexual will be denied the rights to marriage that they enjoy — adorably.
The only thing is, it doesn't seem particularly shocking for me to hear a child telling her grandmother that he should still accept and love her if she were a lesbian. Or that believing the Garden of Eden myth to be based on historical fact is maybe an outdated mode of thinking and that humans possibly aren't pulled from their mothers' wombs already stained with sin for which they need to feel ashamed.
Call me crazy, but I actually kind of find that endearing…
Our kids will be taught a new way of thinking?!?! What?!?! You mean they might grow up not believing that homosexuals mutant pervert abominations before God whose rights of freedom aren't also covered by the Constitution?
Why, that would be a catastrophe!
PZ Myers, by the way, has an excellent response…
Oh, and for any kids who are actually confused, here's how to tell who your parents are. They're the people who love you and take care of you and worry about you all the time. That's all that is important. Their anatomy? Not so important.

You know, this is pretty much exactly the way that I remember Carrie Prejean's press conference going down yesterday…
Why can't those intolerant gay people just leave that poor woman alone?
Update: This is an actual comment from the YouTube page…
is this a joke? hahaha if not shes one dumb bitch
Yep. That person is part of your species.
