Readers, please forgive us for not being in higher spirits. Usually the Political Porkcake Calendar — where we take some good-natured liberties with our favorite politicians by making them look more attractive than usual — is a joyous event. We dance. We make merry. We drink sparkling cider. But since Michele Bachmann dropped out, we've felt empty inside. Sure, watching Mitt Romney try to communicate with non-millionaires is okay. And seeing Rick Santorum earnestly get his hopes up has been fun. But without Bachmann talking to God on a regular basis… Well, it's just not the same.
