  • Rolling Across the Aisle Laughing, Week 4

Welcome to week 4 of RAAL (Rolling Across the Aisle Laughing). We took last week off to do some fundraising in the Hamptons, but this week we're back and ready to elect a new jokester-in-chief. Congratulations to lefty @BorowitzReport for getting the best of liberals in week 3.

Our jokes this week come in the form of comics. Take a look at both and then vote in the comments section. You'll have to do a little more work for the right-wing comic (by clicking the link), but on the bright side, you get to write it off on your taxes.

  • Rolling Across the Aisle Laughing, Week 3

Welcome to week 3 of our political joke primaries. Each week we pit a conservative joke against a liberal one and ask you, our readers, to vote for the best one. Last week we had a hell of a voter turnout. Six of you put your democratic ideals in high gear and cast your vote in the comments section. The results are as follows:

    Left: 3, Right: 2, Voter error*: 1.

    * Relax. This isn't Bush v. Gore, the voter couldn't see the tweets on their computer.

Congratulations to @FrankConniff! To recap, left and right are currently tied. And now for this week's fight…

  • Rolling Across the Aisle Laughing, Week 2

Welcome to week 2 of RAAL (Rolling Across the Aisle Laughing)! Last week we pitted a conservative joke against a liberal one and asked you, our readers, to vote for the best one. Even though we didn't pass any new voter ID laws or rezone our comments section, turnout was dismal. With one vote, the winner was the conservative joke, written by @AlinskyDefeater. Congratulations!

This week we have another round for you to judge, and another plea to vote with your sense of humor, not your sense of partisan obligation. YES WE CAN laugh at ourselves.

    Week 2:

    IN THE LEFT CORNER

    IN THE RIGHT CORNER

  • Rolling Across the Aisle Laughing (RAAL!)

Remember when Republicans and Democrats used to have a sense of humor about working towards a greater good, even if they disagreed on how to get there? Neither do we, these pictures notwithstanding…

If there's anything the left and right have in common anymore, it's that they both love to laugh at the other's expense. This is especially true on Twitter, the ultimate cesspool of silly, biting and sometimes crass one-liners. Here at Indecision, our hope is to get everyone to laugh at themselves a little more, or at least to laugh at everyone equally. With that in mind, we're going to do a weekly democratic tweet-off between liberal and conservative jokesters. Be objective. Consider the issues. Then vote in the comments section. Next Friday we'll let you know who won.

Reach your funny bone across the aisle and get ready to RAAL!
