From The CC Insider…
A couple weeks ago, a campaign began on Reddit to convince Stephen Colbert to hold a rally in Washington DC. As you know, last night, Stephen and Jon Stewart announced not one, but two rallies to be held in our nation's capital on October 30. Naturally, the gang at Reddit are giddy over the news. So much so that they're featuring the above logos on the site today.
As I understand it, this is what having a pregnant looks like.

Ever since the campaign began a couple weeks ago to convince Stephen Colbert to hold a big rally in DC, the internet has been hard at work trying to get his attention. On last night's show, Stephen mentioned the Facebook group and website as well as the fake geese and real doves that have been sent to him. It's pretty cool, but if the internet is so busy with all that, who is photoshopping sad Keanu Reeves onto things?
With all due respect to the goose mailers and dove releasers, my favorite stunt is one that has only materialized in the past day. Some Redditors (it's always the Redditors, isn't it?) decided to put their e-money where their iMouths are by drumming up contibutions to Donors Choose, one of Stephen's favorite charities. With an initial goal of surpassing Hillary Clinton's group's total of $29,945 in one week, the Restoring Truthiness group has raised over $100,000 in just 18 hours!
See, internet, this is what happens when you put your hive mind to doing something good, instead of just photoshopping sad Don Draper onto things.

After Glenn Beck's big Restoring Honor Rally, rallies in Washington DC are so hot right now. They're basically the new auto-tuned Antoine Walker or the current Farting Ewok Falls Down Stairs, which is slated to be an unexpected phenomenon the third week of September. It's with that in mind that a Reddit user has suggested Stephen Colbert hold his own rally in Washington to restore truthiness in America. The movement is rapidly gaining support with a website and a Facebook page, which is surprising since it doesn't appear to have anything to do with Betty White. Anyway, here's Stephen talking about the Glenn Beck rally last week:
The Colbert Report airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30pm / 10:30c.

"I'm probably mincing terms more than you're interested in, but they're not conservatives. They're fundamentalists. They think they're conservatives because they got their notion of what America used to be like by watching Leave It to Beaver and other early family entertainment. Essentially, they have it in their heads that the USA used to be exactly like any small town (2000 people or less) is today, and was back then. Small towns rightfully don't encourage a lot of liberal ideas. They establish a working way of life chock full of xenophobia, racism, and strong religious beliefs simply because thinking is hard and they don't have to do it day-to-day.
"The only time their notions about the world are challenged is when, say, black people or gays move in to town. This particular group is insulting real conservatism by calling themselves Conservapedia. The world needs a balance of conservatism and liberalism. The world does not need fundamentalism."
This seems like a pretty reasonable point at first, but then if you think about it, it turns out this guy is just a fundamentalist about being anti-fundamentalism. But then, if you think about it more, it turns out that you're just a fundamentalist about being anti-fundamentally opposed to fundamentalism. And, after that, you enter the fundamentalism limbo state from which no person returns with his or her sanity intact.
And, that, I think is the best explanation for Conservapedia's Andrew Schlafly.
* Though, that name looks shopped. I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shopped names in my time.

Ok, Reddit. We all know Sarah Palin is going to be an idiot on Fox News but until she has a boob slip, I don't want to be reminded of her idiocy everyday…
Yeah. I figure we can do the same thing with Rush Limbaugh and the hate-crew. They serve no other purpose but to profit from dividing the country and insight violence. We don't need to fulfill their objective here on Reddit.
Kahlnen responds in kind…
You want to see Rush Limbaugh's boobs?
And that's how you discourse a politic. Try and keep up, America.
