Jackie Mason Battles Sarah Silverman for the Jewish Vote

About a week or so ago, we brought you Sarah Silverman's very funny Jewish call to arms.

Now ABC reports, Jackie Mason has thrown his yarmulke into the ring…

"Mason, a supporter of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., kvetched that Silverman 'didn't tell you one good reason to vote for him,' faulting Silverman for implying Obama opponents are bigots."

Jackie Mason kvetches for McCain?! Doesn't he know Barack is a Semitic name, meaning "blessing"? Sure McCain's name in Hebrew might mean "maverick," but I'm pretty sure his voting record in any language means "Bush."

I'm not sure if Jackie Mason doesn't understand satire, or if he understands it really really well. Doesn't he know laugh tracks are outdated? He calls Sarah Silverman a yenta. Isn't that a Barbara Streisand movie? This video really raises more questions than it answers.

At least there's still someone making valid political statements using the power of the viral video.
