While the judiciary tries to hold itself out as an impartial branch of government that floats high above the petty partisan fray of DC politics, everyone knows that's pretty much a load of BS.
As Montana's chief U.S. district judge reminds us, sometimes those black-robed intellectuals forget to keep their political views, and bestiality fantasies, to themselves…
Montana's chief federal judge Wednesday admitted forwarding an email to friends about President Obama that appears to equate African Americans with dogs and raises questions about the president's mixed racial ancestry.
"Normally I don't send or forward a lot of these, but even by my standards, it was a bit touching. I want all of my friends to feel what I felt when I read this. Hope it touches your heart like it did mine," Chief U.S. District Judge Richard Cebull wrote before forwarding the email…
In the email, a boy asks his mother why he is black and she is white. "His mother replied, 'Don't even go there Barack! From what I can remember about that party, you're lucky you don't bark!' "
The Bush-appointed judge later apologized, sort of…

In a time of economic distress, the American people need a leader they can relate to, a leader who’s been through tough times, a leader about whom they can proudly say, “That guy ain’t better’n me.”
Rick Perry believes President Obama is not that leader…
The Texas governor… who has accused the president of calling his fellow citizens "lazy"… elaborated on his view in an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News.
"He grew up in a privileged way," Perry said. "He never had to really work for anything, he never had to go through what Americans are going through," Perry said, theorizing that Obama's upbringing is what distances him Americans"…
Obama, whose family was abandoned by his father when he was young, was brought up by his mother and grandparents, none of whom were wealthy. He attended the exclusive Punahou High School in Honolulu, Hawaii as a scholarship student. In his autobiography, Dreams of My Father, he wrote of his struggle to fit into a school where he was one of the few black students.
Unlike President Obama, Rick Perry just doesn’t understand privilege. Literally. He does not understand the definition of the term "privilege." Particularly, white privilege. I mean, what's the big deal if a caucasian family wants to name their hunting ranch after a horrific racial slur that hearkens back to the eras of slavery and discrimination?
And it's kind of true. Obama doesn’t have to work for anything. He can just look at words, and then, like, read them. Or write stuff down and then actually remember it. Obama can even comprehend dense reports and then make policy decisions based on them.
Clearly, America needs a guy like Rick Perry who struggles with these everyday political tasks.

There's an awesome article in this Sunday's New York Times magazine about Barack Obama's mom, Stanley Ann Dunham. Because we are veteran political analysts and not soft, pliable narrative junkies, we're going to focus on the bits of information we gleaned about American Jesus rather than his mother.
Here are the most important things you need to know about this article…
1. It contains amazing photographs, the most fabulous of which was previously detailed on this site.
2. Little racist-ass punk kids in Indonesia used to throw rocks at little Barack and hurl racial epithets at him, and everyone thought this was perfectly normal and acted like this was okay. He apparently ignored it. At the age of, like, seven. We would speculate on what that does to a child and how it forges a person's character, but we're just bloggers in our underpants.
3. He is the secret crown prince of Kenya, where the locals drink the blood of white Christian NASCAR fans for funsies.J/K! Only the third thing is true.
