SNL: The Undecided GOP Candidates Debate
As funny as this sketch from this past weekend's Saturday Night Live is, I find it hard to believe that it comes even close to how funny an actual GOP debate will be with these candidates when that glorious day finally arrives…

Condoleezza Rice Will Guest Star on 30 Rock
Condoleezza Rice is an incredibly intelligent and motivated woman who served in the Bush administration as both Secretary of State and National Security Advisor. Finally, though, she might be doing something worthwhile to make up for that…
Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will reunite with an old flameā¦in TV land. Tina Fey announced Thursday, on NPR's The Leonard Lopate Show, that the Stanford University political science professor will make her star turn in an upcoming episode.
Jack Donaghy (played by Alec Baldwin) name-dropped Rice as his ex-girlfriend throughout the first season of NBC's 30 Rock and it appears she will debut in "a couple weeks" as the fictional executive's former flame.
Glad to see she's finally getting her career on track. Maybe she'll actually make something of herself one day.

Quote Unquote: For the Good of All Women Except for a Lot of Them
Tina Fey, upon accepting the Kennedy Center's Mark Twain Prize for American Humor…
"And, you know, politics aside, the success of Sarah Palin and women like her is good for all women… unless you're a gay woman who wants to marry your partner of 20 years — whatever. But for most women, the success of conservative women is good for all of us. Unless you believe in evolution. You know, actually, I take it back. The whole thing's a disaster."
If you watched the ceremony on PBS the other night, you probably didn't here those remarks. And if you did, you might have been experiencing some sort of auditory hallucinations, because that stuff was all cut out from the broadcast.

Dairy Queen Employee Tina Fey on Governor Sarah Palin
Tina Fey was talking with David Letterman last night and, oddly enough, the subject of Sarah Palin came up…
In fairness to Fox News, I believe that former governors — the same as former presidents — are often, as a courtesy, referred to by their old job title. Though, to be honest, I'm not sure what the etiquette calls for when you quit halfway through your term to go make a billion dollars.

Tina Fey and SNL on the Make-Believe 'Sarah Palin Network' Which Will Not Be So Make-Believe in a Few Years
I give it less than a year after Oprah Winrey's network — the Oprah Winfrey Network, which is going live on January 1 — is proven to be a financial success that other celebrities start unveiling their own networks. To mind mind, the smart money is on Sarah Palin's to be rolled out after Martha Stewart's but before Corey Feldman's…
