Tom Tancredo's Super PAC Website Has Been Infiltrated by Foreign Words

Former Colorado Rep. Tom Tancredo, fearless opponent of all non-English words (including, presumably, 'Tancredo') has just launched his very own Super PAC with which to raise unlimited funds for 2012.
Now the American Legacy Alliance website is live, complete with a list of scary threats that will not be stopped unless you give money to the American Legacy Alliance. Most terrifying of all: "English will give way to the hodgepodge of languages spoken by those that chose to ignore what few immigration laws remain."
And as you can see from the American Legacy Alliance website screencap above, it's already happening.

From the Pork Barrel: Anti-Renaissance Woman
* While playing with The Michele Bachmann Coloring Book, make sure not to color outside the lines. Because that's where socialists live.
* So, here's the big question now that Rick Perry has announced that he'll be announcing his presidential announcement this weekend: Is America ready for a President who doesn't hate immigrants quite enough?
* I know where Michele Bachmann's coming from. I often also feel a certain nostalgic pang for the Good Ol' Dark Ages. Back then, they really knew how to suffer no witches, ya know? (Kids these days with their suffering witches, am I right?)
* Speaking of witch, new author Christine O'Donnell's Amazon page is looking good.
* Democrats haven't even lost this presidential election yet. Is this really the time to start worrying about who's going to lose in 2016?
* Michele Bachmann gets the most in her corn hole!

Every Conservative Wants to Make Out With AZ Sheriff
Maricopa County, AZ Sheriff Joe Arpaio is not unlike the village tricycle: every whiny pants-shitting toddler wants a ride. Sheriff Arpaio is the fellow whose obsession with sending undocumented immigrants back over the Border has made him a right-wing dreamboat and the target of a Justice Department investigation on racial profiling. The "man" himself recently bragged about his popularity…
"Tomorrow, I’m going up to Colorado to help out Tancredo; I helped that gal in Nevada, Angle," Sheriff Arpaio said, referring to former Representative Tom Tancredo, who is running for governor in Colorado, and Sharron Angle, the Republican Senate nominee in Nevada. "I'm a poster boy on this issue."
Yes, Sheriff Arpaio is not unlike Zac Efron, or perhaps a Jonas Brother. Except that instead of singing and dancing and dating tweenage superstarlets, Arpaio prefers to spend quiet evenings raiding Latino neighborhoods and rooting out entire families of terrified, impoverished, hard-working brown people.
If not for brave citizens like Sheriff Arpaio, our nation would suffer from an even greater availability of busboys, landscapers, nannies and migrant farmworkers. He is the sexiest hero in the Greater Phoenix area, and therefore the world.

The Daily Show on the Tea Party Convention
This past weekend of course saw The Super Bowl as well as the big Tea Party convention in Tennessee. But as Jon Stewart pointed out on last night's Daily Show, it was also Ronald Reagan's birthday. The only way it could have been a more patriotastic weekend is if a bald eagle had waterboarded some foreigners with a 200-year-old jar of Betsy Ross's urine. Maybe next year.
Stephen Colbert's take on the Tea Party convention can be found below.
The Daily Show and Colbert Report air Monday through Thursday starting at 11pm / 10c.

National Tea Party Convention Brews the Usual: Outrage, Extra-Strong
Say, have you purchased your ticket to the National Tea Party Convention in Nashville? It's only $549 plus a $9.95 fee (for Sarah Palin's wardrobe, presumably). Or you could just attend tomorrow's banquet, featuring the World's Best Hockey Mom herself, for $349 plus a mere $9.71 fee (reduced because of fiscal conservatism). What's that? You want to buy groceries for the next two months? Fine, "patriot," here's what you're missing…
The opening-night speaker at first ever National Tea Party Convention ripped into President Obama, Sen. John McCain and "the cult of multiculturalism," asserting that Obama was elected because "we do not have a civics, literacy test before people can vote in this country."
The speaker, former Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., told about 600 delegates in a Nashville, Tenn., ballroom that in the 2008 election, America "put a committed socialist ideologue in the White House … Barack Hussein Obama."
What an odd comment coming from Tom Tancredo. (You remember Tom Tancredo.)
If knowledge of civics were a requirement for voting, he never would've spent a decade in the House of Representatives.
