The Plan to Send Barack Obama Back to Kenya [VIDEO]
This is Jason Thompson — son of former Wisconsin Gov. Tommy Thompson — proving to a crowd of brunch-eating Republicans that he is truly his father's son…
In case you missed it, that day at the end says something like, "We're taking donations for that Kenya trip." Which is kind of sweet. Because that's not a cheap trip. According to Priceline.com, it should run conservative America about a thousand dollars.
Though, they can probably afford it, what with all the taxes they won't be paying.

Democrats Failing to Screw Up Senate Chances
As with any products that are endlessly hawked on television, political parties need to practice brand differentiation. That's why it's so important for Democrats to react to every lackluster debate performance and subsequent swing in the presidential polls with plutonium-grade panic. Is the president going to concede the election this very afternoon? Is it too late to replace the top of the ticket with Hillary Clinton? Should Joe Biden be the presidential candidate? Unless these questions are asked with the maximum amount of hand-wringing and quivering panic, followed by a collapse into the fetal position, lower-information voters will have no way to identify Democrats as Democrats. Projecting quiet confidence may confuse undecided voters into thinking Obama supporters are some kind of Republicans.
But while Democrats have been doing grade-A work of cowering in the face of a 2%-deficit in national polling, and thereby fueling the narrative of a Romney surge, they've been less proactive in completely destroying their chances of holding the U.S. Senate.

Catching Up With A Loser: Tommy Thompson

Join former United States Senate Pages Dylan and Ethan Ris as they bring you the dish on not just the presidential race but all the exciting triumphs and disgraces inside, outside, and below the Beltway!
What Are They Doing Now? The Pages are delighted to present the next in our list of casualties in the 2008 presidential race: Tommy "Tommy" Thompson! The jovial former Wisconsin governor and former secretary of Health and Human Services ran for the Republican nomination on a platform of experience and patriotism — tough sells against the likes of John McCain and Alan Keyes. But Tommy Thompson had a secret weapon: he was the only candidate in the race to have an Amtrak locomotive named after him! The big man from the Badger State also had plenty of nice things to say about the Jews, which is always classy.
On the glorious Iowa evening of August 11, 2007, Tommy Thompson participated in the Ames Straw Poll, and received an impressive 7% of the vote, putting him in a three-way tie for 6th place, along with Joe Lieberman and Barbaro. Despite this clear show of strength, Tommy Thompson sadly decided to bow out of the race the next day. He has not been seen or heard from since, but the Pages are confident he'll turn up soon, because he is microchipped!
Next week's loser: Senator Sam Brownback!

Catching Up With A Loser: Tom Vilsack

Join former United States Senate Pages Dylan and Ethan Ris as they bring you the dish on not just the presidential race but all the exciting triumphs and disgraces inside, outside, and below the Beltway!
What Are They Doing Now? Who out there remembers the first presidential contender to withdraw from the 2008 race? If you guessed Kurt Warner, you get half-credit because the man we're thinking of is also from Iowa! That’s right, it's former Democratic governor Tom Vilsack! On November 30, 2006, Vilsack, possibly under the influence of Canadian prescription drugs, announced he was running for president. He roared out of the gate, netting endorsements from most of his immediate family and wracking up several hundred friends on MySpace.
On the campaign trail, Vilsack emphasized his many accomplishments as governor, such as getting re-elected and converting Canada to the 24-hour clock, but his fortunes turned as he closed in on the critical "1.75 years until the election" milestone. His fundraising dried up, and Vilsack was forced to drop out on February 23, 2007 — taking pride that he was able to announce, attempt and lose his presidential bid all before John McCain, Ron Paul, Fred Thompson, and Tommy Thompson had even started theirs!
Turning his sights to the vice presidency, Vilsack endorsed Hillary Clinton immediately after — or possibly before — he dropped out, only to watch Clinton embarrassingly lose his home state's caucus. Still, there's hope yet for Vilsack, as he may be due for an exciting ambassadorship in the Barack Obama administration! Stay tuned to Congressional Confidential as we steadily expose the whereabouts of all your 2008 presidential losers!

- Some conservatives pleased by dark twinkle in Hillary's eye.
