Ron Paul tweets on all this WikiLeaks business…
"In a free society, we are supposed to know the truth. In a society where truth becomes treason, we are in big trouble."
And Indecision commenter Eliot C. Hall comments…
"Bush admits to war crimes, Assange exposes war crimes. Guess which one has been issued an arrest warrant from Interpol?"
Oooooooo… I know this one. Give me a minute…

George W. Bush — speaking before the Economic Club of Grand Rapids, Michigan — on the serenity of a life lived without regret…

Former Vice President Dick Cheney — who has previously suffered somewhere between three and nineteen heart attacks — was hospitalized with chest pains yesterday.
Whoa whoa whoa whoa! Don't panic. He appears to be in good condition…
Former Vice President Dick Cheney was "feeling good" a day after being hospitalized with chest pains, a source who spoke to Cheney said Tuesday…
Cheney's doctors were evaluating his situation, a family source said. Another source said Cheney, 69, is up and in touch with his family and friends.
Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN's chief medical correspondent, called Cheney's mobility "a good sign."
It's such a load off my mind to know that Vice President Cheney is "feeling good." It truly is "a good sign."
With a little luck, he'll be up and back to hard-core petitioning for medieval torture practices by the end of the month. God willing.

This story just makes me so fucking angry!
Angry that Dick Cheney hasn't published his guide to enhanced parenting techniques yet! Come on, Dick! Don't deny the world that for which it is so clearly crying out…
A [U.S.] soldier waterboarded his four-year-old daughter because she was unable to recite her alphabet. Joshua Tabor admitted to police he had used the CIA torture technique because he was so angry.
As his daughter 'squirmed' to get away, Tabor said he submerged her face three or four times until the water was lapping around her forehead and jawline…
[T]he terrified girl was found hiding in a closet, with bruising on her back and scratch marks on her neck and throat. Asked how she got the bruises, the girl is said to have replied: 'Daddy did it.'
On the negative side, this story — which has so far only run in the foreign press — is fucking horrifying and reinforces ugly stereotypes of about the U.S. military.
But, on the plus side, it's proof that Dick Cheney's legacy is robust and far-reaching.
