Will Nemo Make Chris Christie Invincible?
Chris Christie's sitting pretty, joking with David Letterman about his weight and generally being liked by most of his constituents. Here's why…Much of [his] approval is linked to his handling of the recovery from Superstorm Sandy. Eighty-six percent of voters approve of his handling of the storm's aftermath, and only 11 percent disapprove.
It can only mean one thing. If winter storm Nemo shuts New Jersey down for long enough, he'll get enough political capital to cancel public schooling altogether.

Other Noteworthy Nemos
You might have heard there's a storm coming. You might have heard that it's called "Nemo," at which point you might have told your friend to quit pulling your leg and tell you the real name already.
Nope. It's actually called Nemo, and in honor of that, we rounded up some more non-fish-movie-related Nemos. They're awesome.

Political Civility Breaks Down After Record Three Days
I don't know about you, but Hurricane Sandy left me feeling uneasy. Mitt Romney urged Americans to come together. Chris Christie generously praised President Obama's response. It felt so… wrong. Luckily, we can get back to normal now…The political détente declared during superstorm Sandy is over as President Obama and Mitt Romney return to the campaign trail today after days of subdued rhetoric and deferred political events.
And not a moment too soon. Honestly, if two presidential candidates can stop openly scoffing at each other, what would be next? Owls hooting in the daytime? Cats chasing dogs? The nation coming together for a serious talk about global climate change in the wake of a devastating natural disaster?
I'm just glad the healing can begin now.

Tweet Untweet: Pay No Attention to that Man-Made Warming
#Sandy wasn't caused by global warming, but it might have contributed greatly to it's size & force. Either way, I hope no one looks into it.
