Our Five-Word Webby Acceptance Speech
Last night, we were honored to receive the People's Voice Webby Award for Best Political Blog during a successfully Bieber-free ceremony in New York City. Our producer Darcy Savit — who keeps the trains running on time here on the blog — accepted the award and delivered our five-word-limit acceptance speech with, I think, a great deal of panache. Indecision Wins People's Voice Webby for Best Political Blog

We won? For real?
Apparently, yes. We won.
Thanks to everybody who voted for and supported us. It really is an honor.
One last thing, though. We need to come up with a five word acceptance speech. Anybody have any suggestions?

We've Been Nominated for a Webby Award!
Hey, speaking of ridiculous candidates, guess which sarcastic, partially-informed, hyper-cranky political humor blog has been nominated for a Webby Award this year, and not in the "Most Typos in a Single Post" category…

I've never heard of any of those other establishments, so the way I see it, we've got this thing in the bag. I'm sure that whoever the kid is in his parent's basement who runs that New Yorker thing will get some of his slacker friends to vote, but that's little competition for the literally hundreds of people who read our posts about Sarah Palin farting (or whatever) every day. This seems like a slam dunk.
All the same, I suppose I should ask you to please take a moment out of your busy laughing-at-the-political-flatulence schedule to go over to the website and vote. It doesn't matter who you vote for, just so long as it's us.
Thank you.
