Last night my two teenagers and I were watching the CNN YouTube debates that we'd recorded earlier, and were quite amused to learn that one of the candidates farted during a national debate.

Gov. Richardson is addressing a question about standardizing the voting systems… when somebody and I'm presuming it must be Gov Richardson, passes gas. My kids and I replayed the scene several times and got quite a good laugh out of it.

You can see for yourself below in this clip we pulled from the official CNN/YouTube Debate webpage. The effluviant outburst occurs at precisely the moment that the clock rolls down to 0:27 seconds…

We're not sure if it was Richardson or not. Regardless, it was probably the smartest thing said all night. Who do you think dealt that smart riposte?

Last night, The Daily Show did an election-themed remake of one of TheInDecider's all-time favorite YouTube stars. In case you missed it, John Oliver does his own version of the viral classic "Pretty Ricky – Late Night Special."

For those of you who never had the privilege of seeing the original, here it is:

This got us to thinking, there have been plenty of remakes and mashups of the this clip, but does Oliver's piece qualify as the first politically themed homage to the original?

Debate & Tackle: Look to Your Left

For the last question at the CNN/Youtube Democratic Debate last night, each candidate was asked to look at the candidate to his or her left and tell the audience one thing he or she likes and one thing he or she dislikes about that particular candidate.

We asked Shecky Sloan, our resident 95-year-old former Catskills comic, to analyze how the candidates handled this improv exercise. Here are some highlights:
