Anyway, it's true. The decade is coming to an end. This might not mean much to you if — like a number of my friends — you spent the majority of it sleeping or drunk (or drunksleeping). If I understand things correctly, the followup picks up where the first one left off, except now climate change is played by Jason Patric, and it takes place on a boat.

OBAMA MAY DISPATCH GORE TO NORTH KOREA

Wow. He's really playing hardball over this situation with North Korea holding those two American journalists.

Though, I'm not certain how the U.N. will look upon him sending someone over there to eat up the last of their meager food supplies.

I have no idea what point this cartoon is trying to make, but I am one hundred percent certain that the cartoonist knew that he fuckin' nailed it!

I almost understand what this means. Almost. Though, I would imagine that the Tribulation Force would have more effective projectiles to use against the Antichrist than paper bills. Unless they're counting on massive paper cuts, wouldn't it be more effective to get them changed to pennies or quarters? Something that would at least leave a bump.

As it stands now, the Antichrist is just gonna pick up that money and use it to buy himself some Rogaine.

I gather — given the font used for the Bible verse/explanation of the little boy's Zen koan — that this cartoon is telling us that the Bible predicted the Internet and that it's a sign of the End Times. I wasn't sold on this until I went online and found the actually passage being referenced…

"But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase."

Well, it doesn't get any clearer than that. What else could Bronze Age nomadic people have meant by "and knowledge will increase." Obviously, it's the Internet. Don't even bother embarrassing yourself by attempting an alternate explanation. You'll just make yourself look like an idiot.

Oh! This cartoon explains everything! I was wondering why those people from several milennia ago who were completely caught up in inter-tribal warfare didn't take the time to give clear directives concerning whether or not homosexual people in a hemisphere that they didn't yet know existed should be allowed to get married.

Hmmm… I'm guessing that the Fox Nation is already allied with Sean Hannity's America and is at least entering into diplomatically talks with Scarborough Country.

When you asked who I am, I might've answered this differently two years ago than I do now. I am a guy who works my brains out. I am exhausted every single day, and I probably wouldn't work as hard if the times didn't call for it.

Okay, so he's a guy who works really, really, really hard to get his message out because he sincerely believes in what he's saying.

So, uh, what is he saying?

Yeah, the argument that he was making was the same kind of tactic used by the Nazis. I don't believe Al Gore is trying to gas or round up Jews, I don't believe the result is going to be the same thing. Just understand that the tactic used was a device used by the Nazis.

For instance, we have him on tape during the convention or during the inauguration where he was talking to 12-, 13-, 14- and 15- year olds, and he said "Look there’s a lot of things you understand instinctively but your parents don't understand those things because they’re just too trapped in old thinking."

Well, gosh, I mean, I know he's not going to be rounding up Jews any time soon but that's called the Hitler Youth where you turn the children against the parents.

Hmmmm…

This is just a suggestion, but maybe — just maybe — he shouldn't "work [his] brains out" quite so hard and take a nap.

Those brains sometimes come in handy for thinking up things to believe.
