"Keating Economics" Search Term Very Popular on Google Right Now, So Expect "Keating Economics" to Get Thrown Around a Lot When Bloggers Write About "Keating Economics"

POSTED BY: Dennis DiClaudio

According to Ben Smith, Obama's documentary "Keating Economics" is already a huge hit on the Internet, especially for people interested in "Keating Economics"…

Obama apparently had today's Charles Keating attack in the can, ready to deploy against an attempt to revive Bill Ayers, and it seems to be working.

A glance at Google Trends finds "keating economics" the second-most-popular search term right now. Numbers 8, 11, 12, and 21 are terms like "keating five" and "charles keating."

Bill Ayers shows up at 36, just after "mccain keating."

You just know that a bunch of unscrupulous people out there are gonna start throwing those terms around all over the place just to get more hits on their blogs.

You know, terms like "Keating Economics," "Keating Five," "Keating 5" (just to be safe), "Charles Keating," "McCain Keating," "Bill Ayers" and "Megan Fox Naked."

Just makes me sick. To think of all those people abusing their positions, just for a little financial gain.

There is no place for that kind of bald-faced opportunism when discussing The Keating Five scandal.

Barack Obama Ties John McCain's Leg to $1.3 Million Charles Keating Weight

POSTED BY: Dennis DiClaudio

Barack Obama's campaign just released a 13-minute webumentary on KeatingEconomics.com that seeks to hammer the last nail into John McCain's economic coffin by reminding people of the Arizona senator's not-quite-above board relationship — along with four Democratic senators — with infamous Savings & Loans picaroon Charles Keating back in the '80s and '90s.

Not bad, overall, but I doubt it'll win any Oscars.

Personally, I prefer the moral ambiguity of Capturing the Friedmans.
