A lot of hay has been made of Sonia Sotomayor's "wise Latina" line. After all, how can a minority woman understand the life experience and cultural idiosyncrasies of white men that entitle us to everything? But there's more than that, because not only is she a Latina, but she's also wise. And if there's anything that can throw off the sensitive balance of the court, it's wisdom.

On last night's Daily Show, in response to Lindsey Graham using anonymous comments to criticize Sonia Sotomayor, Jon Stewart pulled out some choice anonymous internet comments about Graham himself. But, it should be noted that not all online comments about the South Carolina Republican are negative. For example, "Lind$ey Gr@H@m gos allnight wth hrbal ç1@l1S!!," is quite complimentary.

But honestly, who isn't? (momentary pause to see if that pissed off the Jezebels… nothing? Good.)

As we all know, judicial appointees are always a hot topic in presidential campaigns, especially for conservatives.  This season  McCain has frequently looked to boost his conservative cred by continually reminding us that he's a lot like the good conservatives of the past. For instance, he's happy to remind us time and time again that "I first entered public life as a foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution"

Cool! Hopefully that means we can look forward to a lot of judicial appointees who are into:

naked women on all fours painted to look like cows and a video of a half-dressed man cavorting with a sexually aroused farm animal. (LA Times)

That should make for some pretty swinging decisions. And best of all, it gives us another opportunity to post this picture!
