Wow. We seem right now to be in a modern Golden Age of voter fraud allegations, don't we? And for good reason. It's so much less gory and blood-splattered than military coups. Well, usually.
So, while we're all waiting for everything in the world to get better and political power to be doled out fairly according to those who have earned it, let's watch some Daily Show clips…
September 17, 2009: Voter Fraud in Afghanistan

Call them what you will — puppets, dummies, inanimate objects being controlled by more powerful forces — but they control the world in which we live. Or, to be more precise, they are controlled into controlling the world in which we live.

What would you do, if you had to sit through a speech by a sniveling Holocaust denier with a patchy beard? Would you just sit back and think, Hey, at least it's funnier than Jay Leno?
No you would not, at least not if you're a Canadian delegate to the United Nations…
Canada will boycott Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's speech at the United Nations on Wednesday, saying his outbursts about the Holocaust and Israel are "shameful."
Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon will be at the world body to attend the opening of the UN General Assembly's annual debate, but officials signal he and other members of the Canadian delegation will vacate the Canadian seats when the Islamic republic's President approaches the podium.
Yeah! That's right! Da da Canada, nyet nyet Iran! Hoooooooo! Suck it, Ahmadinejerk!
Interestingly enough, this is the first time in recorded history that Canadians will be seen participating in a public display of rudeness that does not involve mouth guards and ice.

Poor Barack Obama just can't catch a break with his statements on the Iranian election. Here at home he was accused of an appalling lack of appalled-ness, so then he called the situation appalling, and now Iranian president (or "president," if you will) Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is utterly, utterly appalled…
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad lashed out at President Obama on Thursday, warning him against "interfering" in Iranian affairs and demanding an apology for criticism of a government crackdown on demonstrators protesting alleged electoral fraud. [...]
"Do you want to speak with this tone?" Ahmadinejad responded Thursday, addressing Obama. "If that is your stance, then what is left to talk about?"
He added: "I hope you avoid interfering in Iran's affairs and express your regret in a way that the Iranian nation is informed of it."
Huh. That's weird.
Wonder why a guy whose administration has tried to shut down the internet would call on Obama to Twitter more.
