Forbes.com has its list of the “The 25 Most Influential Liberals In The U.S. Media“. Here’s some of the people on the list: Maureen Dowd, Tom Friedman, Chris Hitchens, Andrew Sullivan, Fareed Zakaria, Fred Hiatt.

Come on! Where's Christopher Buckley? He said something nice about Barack Obama once. What about Joe Scarborough? He's on MSNBC; that must qualify him as a liberal, right?

Wait a minute! Scott McClellan's not on the list? He wrote a book that was critical of his time spent in Bush's administration. If that doesn't make you a liberal, what does?

And, really, couldn't we get Sean Hannity on that list? He supports the Emancipation Proclamation. Doesn't that qualify him for consideration?

Earlier today, we got news that former U.S. Press Secretary Scott "The Weasel" McClellan — who recently came out against the Bush administration's illegal activities in the Iraq debacle about six years too late — will be voting for Barack Obama.

Now we're finding out that an actual honest-to-god McCain campaign adviser, Charles Fried, has already voted for Obama. His rationale? Because of McCain's "choice of Sarah Palin at a time of deep national crisis."

And — since we're already feeling light-headed from the blood loss — we might as well go all the way and watch two conservatives give their reasons for voting against McCain from tonight's edition of Hardball: former Massachusetts governor and Mitt Romney supporter William Weld and the world's drunkest intellectual and Iraq War apologist, Christopher Hitchens. Weld, in his Obama endorsement, is very respectful of McCain. Hitchens is less so (and, therefore, more entertaining), calling McCain "weird" several times and implying that he might even be going senile. No, I correct myself… coming right out and saying that.

And that's just today. A few days ago, libertarian-conservative Christopher Buckley — who shares DNA with conservative icon William F. Buckley — sat down with Chris Matthews. After the jump…

After searching what remains of his soul, McClellan has made his choice for president…

"From the very beginning I have said I am going to support the candidate that has the best chance for changing the way Washington works and getting things done and I will be voting for Barack Obama," McClellan said during the interview, which was taped for the Saturday broadcast of a new CNN show, "D.L. Hughley Breaks the News."

And, all together now: "That's shocking! CNN gave D.L. Hughley his own show?"

On a day when Washington was abuzz with the news that former White House spokesperson Scott McClellan had published a tell-all memoir, President George W. Bush offered his personal reason for not reading it.

"I have no intention of reading Scott McClellan's book," Mr. Bush told reporters, "because it's a book."…

The president said that he thought the chances of his someday reading Mr. McClellan’s book were "zero," adding, "If I didn't read the Iraq Study Group's report, I really don't think I'm about to read Scott McClellan's little book."

I know! It's so out of character!

HANNITY: Why do I always get suspicious that if he really felt this way, and I think this is a question he needs to answer. But your thoughts on it. If he really felt this way, why didn't he leave earlier?

ROVE: Two things, first of all, this doesn't sound like Scott. It really doesn't. Not the Scott McClellan I have known for a long time. Second of all–sounds like somebody else, it sounds like a left-wing blogger. Second of all, if he had these moral qualms he should have spoken up about them. And frankly I don't remember him speaking up about these things, I don't remember a single word. There were people on the White House staff, colleagues of mine that had doubts about this or that policy, they spoke out. But this doesn't sound like Scott.

No, it doesn't sound like Scott. Not at all. I think it's plainly obvious what's going on here.

The "liberal bloggers" have gotten to him. They've obviously used their powers of liberal hypnosis on him, and now he's under their godless spell.

Who would have guessed that he'd be so easily suggestible?
