Stephen is back from vacation with a tan, a big mouth bass, a bottle of Bud Light Lime and an opinion on the whole Shirley Sherrod thing…
I don't know. I'm usually with Stephen on these kinds of things, but something about this clip just rubbed me the wrong way. I'm not exactly sure how to express it myself, so here's some hate mail that was sent to CatsThatLookLikeHitler.com that pretty much sums up my reaction…
yo dude your site is kinda gay, no offence butthe catrs dont look enough like hitler, i saw one where the cat is in anazi uniform, more of those cuz thats funny, the rest is kinda gay
– Evan
Except just replace the word "catrs" with "people who have been fired for no very good reason because the White House is filled with cowards" and it's pretty much what I'm feeling.
The Colbert Report airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30pm / 10:30c.

Last week, I got kind of excited to find out that both Barack Obama and John McCain are both big fans of Mad Men. Because I'm a huge dork. So, I used that as an excuse to play with AMC's Mad Men Yourself that all of your friends use to make their Facebook pics even though it's totally not cool anymore (here's mine).
Anyway, since that was so much fun and since the new season is starting this Sunday night, I thought to myself: Maybe instead of spending my whole afternoon reading a bunch of news stories that are going to make me want to punch myself in the face with toxic poison plant sap, I should just spend some time making Mad Men-esque images of a bunch of politicians and pundits.
And so I did. And here they are…
Sarah Palin

It's no secret that Stephen Colbert has had a somewhat antagonistic relationship with The Environment over the years. That's what makes it so sweet that he would decide to put aside his grievances to fix the problem in the Gulf of Mexico, as evidenced by this video collage of Gulfriendly activity.
Of course, now The Environment is going to have to let us drill inside of a baby seal. Fair is fair…

Breaking News! Spain won the World Cup yesterday afternoon! You heard it here first, folks! Paella for all!
This is obviously fantastic news for the people of Spain, whose national team has never previously brought home La Copa del Mundo. But it's even better news for us, because we really didn't have all that many Daily Show clips about The Netherlands. So, let's all enjoy our good fortune with a refreshing collection of Spanish Daily Show clips…

As Stephen Colbert discussed on last night's Colbert Report, North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il is demanding $65 trillion in reparations from The United States. I understand he originally considered demanding an even $100 trillion, but lowered the amount because he didn't want to seem irrational.
The Colbert Report airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30pm / 10:30c.
