<p>It&#039;s back, and this time <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/us/AP-Palin-Troopergate.html?hp" target="_blank">it&#039;s looking more potent</a>&#8230;</p>
<blockquote><p>A legislative committee investigating Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin <strong>has found she unlawfully abused her authority</strong> in firing the state&#039;s public safety commissioner.</p>
<p>The investigative report concludes that a family grudge wasn&#039;t the sole reason for firing Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan but says it likely was a contributing factor.</p></blockquote>
<p>This might sound bad like a bad thing for a U.S. governor/vice-presidential nominee, and it probably would be for any other.</p>
<p>But for Sarah Palin, it really just reinforces her reputation as a maverick. Assuming what she&#039;s mavericking from is the law.</p>
