On last night's Daily Show, Jon Stewart reported on President Obama's last ditch efforts to pass health care reform and Fox News's coverage of a liberal health care protest. I honestly didn't even know there were liberal health care protesters. I hope they at least came up with a better name than Tea-Baggers. You know, like Queef-Poopers or something.

On last night's Colbert Report, the actual Karl Rove wasn't available, so Stephen put a pair of glasses on a loaf of ham. And while it was a more than serviceable stand-in, it's important to remember that there are some differences between the real Karl Rove and a loaf of ham. For example, one is a cold, meaty, lifeless slab of squishy flesh that smells like garbage if you leave it in the sun too long. And the other is a loaf of ham.

Or scribbles that big university academics make on pieces of mashed up wood so that they can pretend they're better than you. What I'm saying is, words are elitist, and if you're reading these words, you might want to consider punching yourself in the face, you liberal pansy.

But words don't need to be elitist. Let's take back words from the word-mongers! Let's re-brand them as something a little more manly, a little more American. Like, "info-grunts." Or "idehowls."

On last night's Daily Show, Jon Stewart interviewed Marc Thiessen, an author, former spokesman for Jesse Helms and former speechwriter for President George W. Bush. Now, say what you will about his arguments (they're disingenuous, fallible, unpatriotic, etc.), but you have to admit that Thiessen looks every bit as good now as he did when he played Kelly Kapowski on Saved by the Bell. As you may have heard, it was recently revealed that James O'Keefe had doctored those infamous ACORN videos. When he was the toast of the conservative media, O'Keefe had been aggressively championed by Sean Hannity, but the Fox host has been mum since the activist's exposure as a fraud. So on last night's Colbert Report, Stephen decided to sit down with some doctored video of Hannity and get to the bottom of things.

Personally, I'm just really glad to see a whore on Hannity's show again. I miss Alan Colmes.

According to Fox News, they air actual objective news programming from 9am to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm, but as Jon Stewart pointed out on last night's Daily Show, that simply doesn't appear to be the case. Of course there's a reasonable explanation for this. Those time-slots were taken out of context. Fox does indeed show pure unbiased fact-based news from 9am to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. And they do it every other February 29.

Yesterday's big bipartisan health care summit is all anyone is talking about, and obviously not everyone is in agreement about it. Some thought it was a very strong summit that solved a lot of problems, others thought the entire summit should be scrapped and a whole new summit created in its place. Then of course, there are those who wanted voters to have a chance to speak at the summit, the so-called "public option." Fortunately, there's talk of a bipartisan summit to debate all of these points.
